‘The Originals’ Season 4 Spoilers: Episode 4 ‘Keepers Of The House’ Synopsis And Promo Released Online [VIDEO]

Hope Mikaleson (Summer Fontana) isn’t safe. In last week’s episode of “The Originals” Season 4, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) finally met his daughter after five long years. However, a new threat in New Orleans put Hope’s life in jeopardy.

This new threat, a darkness that needs to be fed, wants to take children’s lives. Unfortunately, this darkness also wants Hope. Badly. Episode 3 gave us more information about it. Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) and his wife Eva Sinclair used to practice dark magic in the past. Interestingly, Eva was also pregnant with their child at that time.

Although Vincent was able to leave the dark arts behind, Eva succumbed to its temptation and power. Is she responsible for the child abductions and sacrifices taking place in New Orleans? Also, what happened to their unborn child?

Things will get clearer in “The Originals” Season 4, episode 4. According to the synopsis on TVGuide, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), desperate to save her daughter from this new evil, will turn to Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) for help. She wants more information about this mysterious force that has set its sights on the children residing in the French Quarter.

While Hayley is busy finding information, Klaus will stay with Hope and do his best to protect her.

Elsewhere, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) reluctantly agrees to work with Vincent. The promo of the upcoming episode shows Elijah entering the mind of Detective Will Kinney (Jason Dohring). It was revealed in the previous episode that he was the one who abducted the children and slit the throats of ambulance drivers. Hopefully, Elijah will get some information about the person controlling Will.

Moreover, Freya (Riley Voelkel) and werewolf Keelin (Christina Moses) will put aside their differences and embark on a journey that could change the power dynamic in New Orleans. The witch made it clear to Keelin that she wants to learn how to suppress Marcel’s supernatural traits so that she can take him down. Keelin managed to suppress her werewolf traits using medicine.
