‘Orphan Black’ Season 5 Spoilers: What Secret Is Mrs. S Hiding?

Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy) has had a huge influence in the lives of Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) and her granddaughter, Kira (Skyler Wexler), in “Orphan Black” Season 5. However, it’s also possible that Mrs. S could be hiding something from her loved ones.

In episode 8, titled “Guillotines Decide,” Sarah has a nagging suspicion that Mrs. S is hiding something important from her. In order to avoid letting her daughter think that she’s deceiving her, Mrs. S will encourage Sarah and her Leda clone sisters to attend Felix’s (Jordan Gavaris) opening.

In the previous episode for “Orphan Black” Season 5, Rachel (Maslany) revealed which side she’s really on. After learning the truth about P.T. Westmoreland (Stephen McHattie), Rachel decided to make him believe that she trusted him. However, when she finally had the chance to do so, she rescued Kira and returned her to her family.

Meanwhile, BBC America recently released a teaser for episode 8, which doesn’t really feature any scenes from the upcoming installment. Instead, the 30-second clip is just filled with words that describe what episode 8 will be about. “Get ready for an episode so hard-hitting, so intense, so shocking,” the clip teased.

Elsewhere, Rachel will try to reunite with an old ally. But doing so could mean putting her sisters in grave danger. Once again, Rachel would have to decide whether her own needs are more important than the collective needs of her Leda clone sisters.

In other news, “Orphan Black” Season 5 is close to wrapping up the entire series. Only three more episodes are left before Sarah and her sisters’ stories come to an end. As of late, Alison (Maslany) reunited with her husband, Donnie (Kristian Bruun), and she has a new outlook on life. Cosima (Maslany) and Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) are still struggling with their relationship, but they are still together. Cosima also reunited with Charlotte (Cynthia Galant), and the two female characters made it back home safely in episode 7.

“Orphan Black” Season 5, episode 8 will air on BBC America on Saturday at 10 p.m. EDT.
