‘The Orville’ Season 1, Episode 6 Spoilers: Ed And Gordon Go Undercover
Ed and Gordon go on a dangerous mission in next week’s episode of “The Orville.”
According to the synopsis for Season 1, episode 6 of the Fox series, the Orville crew defeats a Krill attack on a brand new colony. But to better understand the Krills, the Union tasks Ed (Seth MacFarlane) and Gordon (Scott Grimes) to go on an undercover mission to infiltrate a Krill ship and obtain a copy of the Krill bible, the Anhkana.
In the trailer for the episode, Ed and Gordon manage to board the Krill ship by disguising themselves as Krills. But can the two get hold of the Anhkana before the Krills find out that they’re not one of them?
At the end of the promo clip, the captain of the Krill ship seems to have noticed something off about the two newcomers. “I am Captain Haros (Dylan Kenin),” Haros tells the humans disguised as Krills.
“And I’m Chris, and this is Devon,” Ed replies very hesitantly.
“Those are strange names,” Haros comments.
Apparently, deciding what their Krill names should be isn’t the toughest decision the pair has to make during the mission. For some reason, it seems that Gordon suggests that he and Ed should destroy the Krill ship. The Orville captain, however, isn’t convinced that it’s a good idea. “If we destroy this ship … we don’t have souls,” Ed says, after pointing out that the there are children on board the Krill ship.
This isn’t the first time the Orville crew has dealt with Krills. In the series premiere, Ed and his crew went head to head with a group of Krills who tried to steal the time-accelerating device invented by Dr. Aronov (Brian George). And in Season 1, episode 4, Gordon, Bortus (Peter Macon) and John (J. Lee) saved colony transport U.S.S. Druyan from a Krill attack. The Orville crew managed to defeat the Krills in both instances, but will they be able to outsmart the Krills once again in episode 6?
“The Orville” Season 1, episode 6, titled “Krill,” airs on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. EDT on Fox. Watch the trailer for the episode below:
