Red and black is said to be celebs' most preferable shades for coveted award evenings like Oscars and other musical, red carpet events.

Going with the drift, quite a considerable number of celebrities were spotted wearing hot red and metallic color floor- length gowns with almost alike pattern at the 84th annual Academy Award held at Kodak Theatre, Calif, Sunday.

Even though the costumes were striking and stylish, it missed on some oomph factor and hotness quotient.

The red carpet fashion is one of the most talked about subject during award ceremonies and it looks like Oscar 2012 marks more worst dressed celebrities than well-dressed.
