Oscars 2021: Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra Jonas To Announce Academy Award Nominations

Priyanka Chopra Jonas took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal she and her husband Nick Jonas will announce the Oscars 2021 nominations on March 15 at 5.19 a.m. PDT (8.19 a.m. ET) on YouTube.

"Hey @theacademy, any chance I can announce the Oscar nominations solo? _ Just kidding, love you @nickjonas!” she captioned. "We are so excited to be announcing the #OscarNoms on Monday, March 15th at 5.19AM PDT! Watch it live on youtube.com/Oscars."

Nick also posted the same video on his Instagram and captioned, “So excited to announce that @priyankachopra and I will be announcing the #OscarNoms on Monday, March 15th at 5:19AM PDT! Watch it live on youtube.com/Oscars”

Oscars 2021 is scheduled for April 25 at 8 p.m. ET on YouTube.

The announcement was made soon after Nick dropped his latest album on March 11. The 28-year-old singer has been vocal about Chopra being his muse for most of his songs.

Following the Oscars announcement, the musician posted a series of pictures featuring him getting cozy with his wife, alcohol-related news, driving in a car with his dog, COVID negative results, solo picture of Chopra, sleeping next to dog and a solo picture of his other canine.

Nick wrote a long caption along with the pictures and noted: "#Spaceman the album has landed and I am so excited for you all to hear it. Writing this album was a way to process everything that was happening in the world, the distance between us, and what matters most."

"I released #Spaceman first to introduce you to the world and what I encountered along the way," he explained. "#ThisIsHeaven landed second to show the contrast of emotions found in Distance and Euphoria & how reconnecting with the ones you love can give you purpose."

On the other hand, Priyanka announced Sunday she is all set to open a new restaurant, SONA, in New York’s Flatiron district located at 36 East 20th Street in late March.
