Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline have called it quits after dating for more than a year. The couple, who appear on the Netflix series “Outer Banks” as John B and Sarah Cameron, ended their relationship a couple of months ago, according to a source.

Rumors of a possible split first surfaced last month, when Cline was spotted partying with Ross Butler of “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “13 Reasons Why” during a night out in Milan. Both of them were in town to attend the Milan Fashion Week at the time, but Butler claimed he and Cline were “just friends.”

Fans also noticed that Stokes spent Halloween with friends, including Joey King, and not Cline. The pair has not been spotted together in public in recent weeks, either, while Cline continues to explore Europe without Stokes.

Cline and Stokes met on the set of “Outer Banks” Season 1, which dropped on Netflix in April 2020. They confirmed their relationship in June 2020, after Stokes shared photos of their beach date on his Instagram.

“Cats outta the bag,” he wrote in the caption back then.

In April, the couple celebrated their first anniversary by posting photos of each other on their Instagram accounts.

“365 w/ u,” Stokes captioned his post, to which Cline responded, “And I’d do it again.”

For her part, Cline wrote alongside a photo of her beau, “Thanks for helping me keep track of my belongings for a whole year. Adore u.”

The last time the couple posted anything about each other was in September, when Stokes celebrated his 29th birthday. At the time, Cline posted a series of Stokes’ photos on her Instagram Story, accompanied by a sweet but short message that read, “Happiest birthday to you, nerd.”

Stokes later took to Instagram to thank everyone for the birthday wishes, sharing a series of photos that included those of Cline on the set of “Outer Banks.”

“Another trip around the sun,” he noted. “Very thankful for everybody who has sent me messages, tagged me in things, and showed so much love. Thank you. Yes, I know. I’m old. Get over it.”
