'Outlander' Season 1 Spoilers: Jamie Rescues Claire And Fights With Her In Midseason Premiere Sneak Peek Videos

“Outlander” Season 1 will show a bit more of Jamie’s perspective in the midseason premiere. In the midseason finale, fans saw Jamie (Sam Heughan) burst in to save Claire (Caitriona Balfe) from Capt. Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). In a new sneak peek from the series' upcoming episode, Jamie is shown on his way to rescue Claire. But it seems finding his wife and sneaking into Black Jack’s office wasn’t an easy feat.

Sneak Peek No. 1

The clip starts with Jamie putting on his kilt (sorry ladies, he isn’t naked for long). He actually lays on the ground and wraps himself in the tartan cloth which is the traditional way to put on a kilt. He puts his weapons on his belt and heads off to Fort William.

Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) comes up from behind a red coat and holds him at knifepoint. Jamie pops out from under his camouflague, and the two men threaten the redcoat and ask him where Claire and Capt. Randall are.

The redcoat claims he doesn’t know anything. Murtagh moves the knife from the redcoat’s throat down to his groin, and Jamie says that he should talk or his “next words will be in a Lassie’s voice.”

The redcoat suddenly remembers where Claire is. “Commander’s office, in the tower,” he reveals. Murtagh thanks him before knocking him unconscious.

Jamie gave a signal and more of his friends revealed themselves. He went up to the tower on his own though, and had to knock out a few redcoats along the way. Once he got up to the top of the tower, he realized how dangerous his mission could be. If he fell from the tower, he’d fall into the ocean below and very well die.

Of course, danger can’t stop Jamie. He goes down the building onto a slightly unstable rope. Once he hears Claire scream, he picks up the pace. Jamie opens the window and says, “I’d thank you to take your hands off my wife.”

Sneak Peek No. 2

That sexy reunion clip isn’t going to happen right after Jamie saves Claire. In fact, it looks like they might not be having any sexy times at all in the near future. Jamie is actually angry with Claire for getting captured.

“You think to punish you I went for a walk in the woods on the chance that some British soldiers would be walking by?” Claire asks incredulously.

Jamie had ordered her to stay put and he doesn’t like that she disobeyed him. She claims that she doesn’t have to do everything he demands, but Jamie thinks that is what a wife is supposed to do.

“You think I’m your property, don’t you?” Claire asks. “You think I belong to you, and you can’t stand for someone to have something else that belongs to you.”

“You do belong to me, and you are my wife whether you like it or not,” Jamie tells her.

Claire claims she doesn’t like it and accuses Jamie of ignoring her thoughts and feelings.
