‘Outlander’ Season 2 Spoilers: 4 Most Exciting Moments From The First Trailer

The end to “droughtlander” is finally in sight! Starz released a trailer for “Outlander” Season 2, and it looks like Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) are stronger than ever. They’ll head to Paris in Season 2 to try to change the future and stop the Battle of Culloden. The trailer reveals plenty of drama and fun ahead for the time travel show. Check out four of the most exciting moments from the promo video below:

1. Claire’s Baby Bump -- Claire’s pregnancy will move along quickly. In one bedroom scene, a shirtless Jamie rubs his wife’s rather large belly. It looks like Claire won’t be wearing those corsets for too much longer.

2. War -- It isn’t clear if the main characters will stop the Battle of Culloden (unless you read the books), but there will be some battles that they can’t stop. It looks like the redcoats are fighting the highlanders, and “Outlander” fans will have to hope that Jamie and Claire’s friends survive.

3. France -- We might be cheating with this one since it’s several moments, but after months of seeing set photos, it’s nice to actually see what the French sets look like. This trailer gives viewers several clips from Paris, and the new city will bring some visual changes to the show. The clothing is brighter, the meals are more opulent, and Jamie and Claire’s bedroom is more luxurious.

4. Changing History -- Jamie and Claire are determined to change the future, but Claire still isn’t sure they can. “Do you think we’ll have changed things?” she asks Jamie.

“You tell me, Sassenach,” he says. “You’re the one from the future.”

“Outlander” Season 2 will return in the spring, but it does not have an exact premiere date yet. However, fans should expect more scoop from the show very soon.
