Ozzy And Sharon Osbourne Celebrate 40th Wedding Anniversary [Photos]

Ozzy And Sharon Osbourne shared throwback photos to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.

The 73-year-old singer took to Instagram Monday to share a photo of his wedding day when he and Sharon donned a white outfit. While Ozzy had a green leaf string around his neck, Sharon had a white flower bouquet in her hands.

"40 Years Ago Today! Happy Anniversary My Love," Ozzy wrote in the caption.

Fans took to the comments section to share their congratulatory messages.

While one of the fans joked, "My adoption papers are ready," another one commented, "You look AWESOME.... happy anniversary to You both."

Sharon also took to Instagram on the same day to share a throwback photo of the couple. The 69-year-old TV personality can be seen holding Ozzy's hands and the couple donned black outfits.

"2022 is a special year for me," Sharon captioned the photo. "It marks 40 years of marriage to my darling Ozzy. We first met when I was 18, over 52 years we have been friends, lovers, husband & wife, grandparents and soulmates. Always at each other’s side. I love you Ozzy ~ Sharrrrrrron x."

The couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary weeks after the singer revealed he had a significant operation and gave his fans update regarding his health.

"I am now home from the hospital recuperating comfortably," the singer shared on Instagram. "I am definitely feeling the love and support from all my fans and send everyone a big thank you for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes during my recovery."

It was Sharon who first shared the news about her husband's health.

"He has a very major operation on Monday, and I have to be there," the TV personality said on "The Talk" last month. "It’s really going to determine the rest of his life."

She also thanked fans on Instagram later for sharing love and support.

"Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy's surgery!" Sharon wrote on Instagram Stories. "Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him."

Ozzy and Sharon got married in 1982. The couple shares three kids -- Kelly, 37, Aimee, 38 and Jack, 36.
