Paris Hilton Not Dating Justin Bieber, Socialite Reportedly Calls Cannes Outing With Singer ‘Lame’

Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton recently sparked relationship rumors after images surfaced of the unlikely duo leaving rapper Busta Rhymes’ birthday party at Gotha Nightclub in Cannes, France, Saturday. Despite the twosome’s late-night partying session ending with their decision to leave the European hot spot together in favor of Bieber’s French pad, TMZ is reporting that Hilton is not dating the 20-year-old “Baby” singer.

“She couldn’t spend more than a half-hour with him,” reported the gossip site Tuesday of the pair’s May 17 outing, adding that despite contradicting reports, Hilton, 33, of former “The Simple Life” reality-TV fame, couldn’t get away from the pop star fast enough.

While E! News first published claims that the duo spent Saturday night together, with Hilton at one point being spotted hopping on a shirtless Bieber’s lap before leaving side-by-side, insiders claim the twosome's relationship never crossed over into romantic territory. “Paris was never alone with him,” reported TMZ, adding that while Hilton and Bieber were photographed leaving the club together, Bieber reportedly had 50 others join his private afterparty.

“She said the party was lame and couldn’t stand the fact that Justin was playing his own songs,” Hilton reportedly said of the party, according to a source who claims the socialite left the party after spending only 30 minutes at the singer's home.

Hours prior to Bieber’s jaunt with Hilton, the singer was spotted attending the Vanity Fair and Armani Cannes Film Festival Party at Hotel du Cap. According to a report from Vanity Fair, the performer (previously linked to singer/actress Selena Gomez) was introduced to Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence at the event per her request. Despite her reported excitement about meeting Bieber, VF reports that the 23-year-old “Hunger Games” star declined to pose for a photo with the "Boyfriend" star because she wanted their meeting to be “normal.”

Hilton, who was also seen attending "The Rover" premiere at the 67th Cannes Fim Festival Sunday, was last known to be dating Spanish model River Viiperi. While Viiperi, 22, wasn’t spotted alongside his socialite beau during her weekend romp with Bieber, the starlet last referred to her relationship with her better half of one-year as “perfect.” “It’s not an issue at all,” Hilton said of the age difference to OK! Magazine in March. “We both look and feel the same age.”
