Patrick Swayze's Widow, Lisa Niemi, Finds Love Again With Jeweler Albert DePrisco

Patrick Swayze’s widow, Lisa Niemi, put her love life on hold for three years following the death of the “Dirty Dancing” star to pancreatic cancer. Niemi is now resuming dating again, falling in love with jeweler Albert DePrisco.

People magazine reported that Niemi, 56, found love with DePrisco, 57, whom Swayze’s widow met through a mutual friend during Niemi’s birthday.

“It’s new, and they’re taking it slow,” a representative for Niemi told the magazine.

Swayze and Niemi were married for 34 years until he passed away in September 2009.

Niemi is a dancer and choreogropher who met Swayze on the set of the iconic ‘80s dancing movie "Dirty Dancing."

She is also a trained pilot and has been flying a Beechcraft twin-engine plane during her dates with DePrisco, Hello! Magazine reported.

Niemi and DePrisco first started dating a few months ago, and while the couple is taking it slow, the jeweler has already introduced his new girlfriend to his parents, according to the National Enquirer.

“The two have gone out on hot-and-heavy dates, and the smitten businessman has been showering Lisa with expensive jewelry,” the tabloid reported.

The Enquirer also reported that Niemi has used her plane to travel from her home in California to DePrisco’s place in Deerfield Beach, Fla.

“Albert was waiting for Lisa with open arms when she landed her plane at the Boca Raton Airport,” an eyewitness told the tabloid. “She got out of the plane, fell into his arms, and they shared a long, steamy kiss.”

DePrisco is the son of Francis and Marie DePrisco, the founders of DePrisco’s Jewelers in Boston in 1948, according to the Enquirer.

DePrisco and his oldest sister Donna have taken over the business, which has locations in Massachusetts and South Florida, according to the tabloid.

The jeweler hasn’t been stingy when it comes to giving gifts for Niemi.

“Albert is very generous and has given Lisa some expensive jewelry from his family’s shops,” a source told the Enquirer. “Lisa is very impressed, and her affection for him is obvious.”
