Paul Burrell Breaks Down After Sharing Details About His, Princess Diana’s Friendship

Princess Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, has been silent ever since he was criticized for sharing details about the late princess.

But in the upcoming episode of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here,” Burrell is seen breaking down in tears as he talks to John Edward, an American psychic medium.

Edward asks Burrell if someone close to his has died, and he says yes. Edward predicts that the person that passed away is a friend of Burrell’s. While Burrell is still in tears, the alleged psychic mentions something about a letter and a photo. Towards the end of the teaser, a shocked Burrell says that the psychic could not have possibly known that detail.

The American psychic did not mention whether or not the spirit he is sensing is that of Princess Diana’s. But Burrell has spoken positively about his former boss during his stint in “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.” In the past, he confirmed that Prince Harry is not the son of James Hewitt, Princess Diana’s former fling.

Burrell also talked about Princess Diana’s death, as well as the letter she wrote to him. In the letter, Princess Diana told Burrell that she’s convinced Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles wanted her dead, and they will execute a plan that will involve a car crash. On Aug. 31, 1997, Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris.

The reality TV star also opened up about Princess Diana’s strained relationship with her mom. Burrell said that Princes William and Harry’s mom suffered from anorexia because of her broken relationship with her mother.

He also talked about the shock he felt when he learned that the princess has died. Burrell told his fellow camp mates that he tried to wake her up because he thought she was joking. He could not believe that he was unable to protect the princess just like he promised he would.
