  • Paul Heyman betrayed Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble
  • Lesnar lost his WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley
  • Heyman walked away with Roman Reigns after betraying Lesnar

Paul Heyman has sent a three-word message to Brock Lesnar after betraying him at the recently concluded Royal Rumble.

Lesnar was scheduled to defend his WWE Championship title against Bobby Lashley at the Royal Rumble on Sunday. Heyman joined Roman Reigns in assisting Lashley to defeat the Beast Incarnate to become the two-time WWE Champion.

After the fight, Heyman walked away with Reigns, hinting that the duo was back together. This happened a few weeks after The Tribal Chief had fired Heyman from his position as special counsel on SmackDown.

Heyman has now broken his silence following his huge betrayal. He shared a picture of himself introducing Lesnar at the show ahead of his WWE Championship match. "One ... Last ... Time," Heyman captained the picture, probably hinting that his alliance with the Beast Incarnate is officially over for good.

At the Royal Rumble, after Lesnar successfully escaped Lashley's Hurt Lock move, he attempted an F-5, only for Lashley to crash into the referee. Reigns suddenly appeared, speared Lesnar and then took the WWE Championship from Heyman only to smack it across Lesnar's face, according to Bleacher Report. That allowed Lashley to make the cover and win the title.

Meanwhile, Seth Rollins got the better of the WWE Universal Champion at the Royal Rumble, which took place in Missouri. The fight between Rollins and Reigns opened the show Sunday.

Rollins and Reigns started off in the WWE as a team called The Shield. Just to get into Reigns' head, Rollins entered the Royal Rumble event with The Shield's music.

After locking in a Guillotine move, Reigns refused to listen to referee Charles Robinson's orders to let it go as Rollins held the ropes. The referee was forced to disqualify Reigns.

Even though Rollins won the Universal Championship fight, he didn't earn the title because he triumphed it through disqualification. His misery didn't end there. Reigns took a chair after the match and repeatedly assaulted Rollins with it to take revenge.
