Connecticut State Police are searching for Paul Lupo, the father of 5-year-old Francis Lupo, who is missing after last being seen driving with his son.
An AMBER Alert was issued Sunday night for Francis and canceled around 10 p.m. after they found the 5-year-old in New York City. Francis was believed to be driving with his father, but authorities have not located the missing 49-year-old and have since issued a Silver Alert for the Ridgefield, Conn., man, the Hartford Courant reported.
Police believe Paul Lupo dropped off his son, but otherwise have no clue where he was headed, NBC Connecticut reported.
He was last seen leaving his home in Ridgefield around 7:30 p.m. Sunday with his son after getting into an argument with his wife, the stations said, citing the Ridgefield Police Department. Paul Lupo was believed to be drunk when he drove away.
Paul Lupo was driving a blue 20022 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Connecticut license plates.
Paul Lupo was described as 6-feet tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. He weighs 210 pounds. Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call the Ridgefield Police Department at 203-438-6531.
