Paul Walker’s Daughter Meadow Celebrates His 48th Birthday With Throwback Picture
Actor Paul Walker's legacy continues to live on through his daughter Meadow Walker, who took to Instagram on Sunday to celebrate and remember her father on what would have been his 48th birthday.
Meadow shared a sweet childhood picture of herself with her father as the “Fast & Furious” actor sits on a lounge chair.
"Happy birthday daddy, I love you," Meadow wrote in the caption.
The 22-year-old's post was met with love and support from friends and fans of the actor. Meadow’s fiancé, Louis Thornton Allan, also commented: “With you always.”
Ever since his death on Nov. 30, 2013, Meadow has frequently honored her father’s memory and gave fans glimpses of the actor's life outside his work. She has also remained close to his “Fast & Furious” family, especially Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Torreto in the movie and is Meadow's godfather.
Speaking about their relationship, Diesel had told Extra in June he feels “very protective” of Meadow.
"She's the first person on Father's Day to wish me Happy Father's Day. ... To see her with my children is one of the most beautiful things," Diesel said. "There are moments when I see her playing with Pauline and it hits me so deep 'cause I can only imagine what my brother sees when he sees that."
Diesel had named his daughter Pauline to honor Paul.
Meadow also attended the premiere of “F9” back in June, and during an interview with E! Online Diesel even discussed the possibility of her appearing in an upcoming installment in the franchise.
"I would not count anything out. Let me just, without giving you all of the secrets of Fast 10, let's just say nothing's ruled out."
Meadow was 15 when Paul met with an accident and died. Since he was already in the middle of filming “Fast 7” the makers roped in Paul’s brothers Caleb and Cody to act as a stand-in for him for the rest of the movie.
"We stopped filming Furious 7 for about five months [after Paul's death] because we were wrapping our heads around what we were going to do, while mourning," Diesel added. "And the studio accepted a bold decision, which was to allow the character to exist in our mythology."
