Paul Wesley And Wife Ines de Ramon Split: 'Decision To Separate Is Mutual'
Paul Wesley and his wife, Ines de Ramon, have called it quits after being married for about three years.
"The decision to separate is mutual and occurred five months ago. They request privacy at this time," the couple's rep told People on Monday.
The 40-year-old actor began dating the 29-year-old jewelry professional in June 2018. They were spotted together in New York City, and made their relationship Instagram official in July 2018. The former couple posted a photo, where they were attending a wedding together.
While the couple kept their relationship low-key, they were spotted wearing similar rings on their wedding fingers. However, they confirmed being married in June 2019.
After one year, De Ramon shared a photo on her Instagram (now she has made her account private) to mark their one-year wedding anniversary in July 2020.
"The Vampire Diaries" star was previously married to actress Torrey DeVitto from 2011 to 2013. Following their divorce, the actor was romantically linked with actress Phoebe Tonkin.
"[They were] on a double date with Ben McKenzie and Shelley Hennig," a source told US Magazine at that time. "It looked like Paul and Phoebe might have set Ben up with Shelley — seemed like a first date."
"Paul and Phoebe were 100% romantic – they were across the table from Ben all cozied up on the couch kissing each other. She had her head on his chest," the source added.
However, after being together for four years, the former couple split.
On the work front, the actor rose to fame with the TV series, "The Vampire Diaries," which aired from 2009 to 2017.
Wesley was last seen in the TV series, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds," where he portrayed Captain James T. Kirk's character. The show is available to stream on Paramount+ and it also stars Anson Mount, Jess Bush and Rebecca Romijn.
The actor will be next seen in Bo Mirosseni's directed movie, "History of Evil," which is currently under post-production. The flick also stars Jackie Cruz, Rhonda Johnson Dents, Preston Flagg and Ralph Rodriguez.
He will also appear in a TV series, titled "Confessions of a Drug Addicted High School Teacher," which is currently under pre-production. The actor will portray Jason's character in the show.
