Paula Deen Lawsuit Plaintiff Has Troubled Financial Past
The Paula Deen lawsuit is filled with a lot of explosive charges against Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers, but plaintiff, Lisa Jackson, has her own past problems.
RadarOnline is reporting that Jackson has owed a total of $63,948 in both Georgia state taxes and federal taxes dating from 2001 to 2005. However, almost all of the liens have been released or settled.
Jackson filed a lawsuit against Deen on March 5, alleging racism, sexual harassment and infliction of emotional distress and assault while working as a General Manager position at Uncle Bubba's Oyster House.
[Jackson] continues to endure immense pain and has suffered greatly at the hands of Defendants' outrageous and intolerable conduct, the lawsuit reads.
In the lawsuit, Jackson alleges that Hiers used a racial slur about President Barack Obama, made advances toward her, watched pornography in the office they shared together and distributed at meetings photos of women having sex. Jackson also said that Deen used the N word as well.
In the presence of Ms. Jackson and Uncle Bubba's restaurant manager and a vendor, Bubba Hiers stated they should send President Obama to the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico so he could n----r-rig it, the lawsuit reads.
Well what I would really like is a bunch of little n----rs to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, you know in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around, Jackson said Deen told her. Now, that would be a true Southern wedding wouldn't it? But we can't do that because the media would be on me about that.
Deen and Hiers have not responded publicly to the lawsuit yet.
