On Thursday morning, Dustin Johnson began his quest to win the 2013 PGA Championship. He’s never won a major, with his best finish coming at the 2011 Open Championship, where he finished in second place.

Before the start of the tournament, Johnson’s odds to win were set at 50-1 by Bovada.lv. He may not be one of the favorites to finish in first place, but he should get plenty of attention for his girlfriend cheering him on. Johnson is dating Paulina Gretzky, daughter of NHL legend Wayne Gretzky, who first gained notoriety after posting risqué photos online.

Since the two are seeing each other, there’s a good chance the model will be cheering on Johnson at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford, N.Y. In fact, a few fans at the event have stated on Twitter that they’ve already spotted Gretzky in the crowd.

“Just saw Paulina Gretzky #omg #inlove,” tweeted @GetAtMeddiak.

“Mission of the weekend accomplished, Paulina Gretzky has been spotted,” tweeted @STL_Ballard.

Gretzky was seen rooting for Johnson at the RBC Canadian Open at the end of July. The golfer tied for second with three others in the tournament.
