Paulina Gretzky Reveals Name Of Second Baby With Pro Golfer Dustin Johnson On Instagram
Model Paulina Gretzky has given birth to her second son with longtime partner and pro golfer Dustin Johnson. The proud mom announced the name of their new bundle of joy on social media afterwards.
On Wednesday, Gretzky took the time to update her Instagram account days after giving birth to her second child. The 28-year-old uploaded a photo taken in her hospital room. In the pic, Johnson can be seen holding his son Tatum as the latter leans forward to kiss his younger brother. “Welcome to the world baby boy.. we all love you so much,” Gretzky wrote in the caption, before revealing that her second son’s name is River Jones Johnson.
Gretzky gave birth to River Jones on Monday, June 12. The following day, ESPN’s Ian O’Connor broke the news that the girlfriend of the famous athlete has successfully delivered the baby. At the time though, the name of Gretzky and Johnson’s second child was still unknown. In his Twitter post, O’Connor shared a snap of the newborn and simply wrote: “Meet the beautiful baby boy of Paulina Gretzky & Dustin Johnson. Name to come.”

When O’Connor was asked why he was the first one to post about the baby, he clarified that he got permission from Johnson’s family. Us Weekly has learned that it was Johnson’s grandfather and former L.A. Lakers player Art Whisnant who gave O’Connor consent to publish the photo online.
Meanwhile, Johnson is back to work after the birth of his second son. The U.S. Open is set to commence this Thursday, June 15. Previously, the 32-year-old said that he would not participate in the tournament if Gretzky has not given birth prior to the event. However, TMZ exclusively found out that Johnson had already flown in to Erin, Wisconsin to defend his title.
“It's been very fun the last couple of days, obviously having a new son on Monday was awesome," Johnson was quoted as saying by USA Today at a press conference in Erin Hills on Wednesday afternoon. "Everybody’s healthy. Mom is healthy. The baby is healthy. So that’s good. They just got home today, so that’s exciting. Everything is going really good.”
