Pedophilia Advocate Who Wanted To Legalize Child Porn Arrested While Running Away With 12-Year-Old

A Virginia man, who is a self-proclaimed pedophilia advocate, has been arrested for kidnapping a 12-year-old girl he met online.

Nathan Larson, 40, was arrested last week from Denver airport while he was trying to fly to Washington, D.C with the girl. The victim, from California, was rescued and reunited with her parents. Her identity was not revealed.

The victim's parents filed a missing complaint on Dec. 14 and an investigation by Fresno County Sheriff's Office revealed that she was coerced into running away with the man whom she met online.

Larson allegedly convinced the girl to send him inappropriate photos of herself. He coerced the girl into sneaking out of her apartment when others were asleep. Larson made her wear a long-haired wig to make her look older and the girl was asked to pretend to be mute during the travel, according to a release from Fresno County Sheriff's office.

Larson faces felony charges for kidnapping, child abduction, soliciting child pornography from a minor and meeting a child for the intention of sex in Fresno County. He has been sent to Denver County jail with a misdemeanor charge of harboring a minor. He is scheduled for a court hearing on Dec. 24.

After his arrest, investigators conducted a search at his residence in Catlett and received "deeply disturbing evidence" from his home and computer. Larson's father, Arthur Larson, was arrested for assaulting a federal detective during the search. He was later released from jail after posting bond.

"He [Larson] is a white supremacist and a well-known advocate for pedophilia," Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims said. "This is a man who runs a website, which encourages the raping of children and sharing of naked photos and video of children being raped."

Larson had run for a seat in Virginia House of Delegates in 2017 but lost. He advocated to legalize child pornography and stood for suppressing women's rights. He also stood for legalizing marriages between fathers and daughters, reported Associated Press.

"We need to switch to a system that classifies women as property, initially of their fathers and later of their husbands," Larson had written in his election manifesto, reported news outlet HuffPost.

In 2009, Larson was sentenced to 16 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to sending a threatening email to the Secret Service expressing his intent to kill the President in the "near future."

"As a result of this investigation, we have a family who is going to be celebrating the holidays and they won't have an empty chair. They've got their little girl back with them," Mims told in a news conference Saturday.
