Pennsylvania Condom Robbery: Erie Man Can't Protect His Protection From Knife-Wielding Suspects
A Pennsylvania man wasn’t able to protect his protection after two armed men robbed him of a condom at knifepoint in Erie.
The suspects, only identified as two knife-wielding men, robbed the victim Tuesday night on East 23rd Street in Erie, Pa., the Erie Times- News reported, citing the Erie County emergency dispatch.
The condom robbery was also reported by the Associated Press. Police confirmed to the AP that the incident took place but offered no other details.
The robbery was reported around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Times-News. The victim was only robbed of the condom.
The condom robbery is all but assured of being labeled the Times-News’ crime of the week. The winner of the June 22 edition of weird crime of the week involved a neighbor stealing another neighbor’s puppy in Randolph, N.Y., near the Pennsylvania border.
Police said the neighbor, a 39-year-old woman, went into her neighbor’s apartment and stole the puppy; no other items were taken.
She was charged with criminal trespass and larceny for allegedly stealing the puppy, according to the Times-News.
