'The Penthouse 2' Wraps Up Season By Dominating The Most Buzzworthy Drama List

South Korean series "The Penthouse 2" has successfully continued its reign on the list of the most buzzworthy dramas throughout the season.

The first season titled "The Penthouse: War in Life," starring Lee Ji-ah, Kim So-Yeon, Eugene, Um Ki-Joon, Yoon Jong-hoon and Park Eun-Seok, garnered a lot of attention from viewers with its incredibly entertaining plot, never-ending cliff-hangers and twists.

The suspense drama series revolves around the wealthy residents of Hera Palace and their children, who study at a prestigious institution named Cheong-ah Arts School. Their lives turn upside down after a young schoolgirl is bullied and brutally murdered at the palace under mysterious circumstances.

It was no surprise the second season, which was a continuation of the same plot, was one of the most anticipated series of all times.

"The Penthouse 2," which premiered in February, topped the Good Data Corporation’s rankings for most buzzworthy dramas in its first week, Soompi reported. The widely popular drama continued to defend and maintain its position at the No. 1 spot on the list every single week up to its final week of airing. The final episode of the season aired on April 2.

Good Data Corporation releases weekly rankings of the most talked-about soon-to-air/ongoing dramas and actors. The rankings are determined by analyzing data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media posts.

Uhm Ki-Joon, Eugene, Park Eun-Suk, Kim So-Yeon and Kim Hyun-Soo also made it to the top 10 rankings on the list.
