Professional ballroom dancers Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy gave fans a closer look at their IVF journey by sharing an intimate ultrasound video on Instagram Monday.

In the clip, Murgatroyd explained that they are heading to her ultrasound appointment to take a look at her ovarian follicles ahead of the egg retrieval part of the IVF process.

"We are going in together, this is the first time Maks is here for one of the ultrasounds, so it's gonna be good," she said in the video. "We're with Dr. Surrey today, and this is the last ultrasound before we find out what day we're doing an egg retrieval. I'm gonna show you guys what my follicles look like, if it's not TMI."

"Can't wait to meet your follicles," Chmerkovskiy quipped.

The 35-year-old dancer then showed the viewers the process of getting her blood drawn before entering the doctor's office and getting an ultrasound. In one part of the video, she said it was the first time in her IVF journey that she felt "pregnant."

The next clip showed Dr. Mark Surrey taking a look at Murgatroyd's ovaries and telling her that her ovaries seemed "busy." The doctor jokingly told her, "You're gonna get carpal tunnel syndrome measuring those things out," which sent Murgatroyd laughing. Dr. Surrey then told the couple to return to the clinic every day to measure the follicles before they could proceed to the egg retrieval procedure.

Murgatroyd showed her stomach and said she felt bloated while Chmerkovskiy panned to the ultrasound tool and said, "What is this?" Murgatroyd replied, "Look at my tummy, show people my tummy." But Chmerkovskiy was more intrigued by the tool and said, "Look at this guy right here, showing people what they wanna see."

In the caption of her video, Murgatroyd explained her husband's thoughts about the tool and wrote, "Meet my follicles guys. @maksimc was only slightly traumatized by some 'tools'! VOLUME UP."

The couple has been sharing their IVF journey since June 21 after Murgatroyd opened up to People about suffering a miscarriage while her husband was in Ukraine to film "World of Dance UA."
