Netflix created a new movie category, “short-a** movies,” after Pete Davidson made the joke that there should be more short films to watch during a "Saturday Night Live" musical sketch.

"These days, when I sit down to watch a movie, I can find just about anything in the world," Davidson said in the rap skit posted on SNL’s Twitter Sunday.

"But night after night, there's only one kind of movie I'm always looking for, and that's a short-ass movie. A really short movie like at most an hour 40. Gimme that short-ass movie, a 90-minute movie," he added.

Netflix’s comedy Twitter account, “Netflix Is A Joke,” responded to the post on Monday saying, “good idea” along with a real link to the new category “https://netflix.com/shortassmovies.”

Now, on the Netflix page you’ll find the “short-a** movies” category that gives a list of movies that are 90 minutes or less. The titles it directs users to include “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Original Movie,” “Stand By Me,” the original “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Zoolander.”

Netflix spokesperson Kumiko Hidaka told The Verge on Tuesday that the new category has “been available since 10 am PT on Mon 4/4,” and that it should be able to be found on all devices.
