PFL Breaks New Ground With Creation Of PFL Studios, A First In Combat Sports

The Professional Fighters League has always been about breaking new ground and making history in combat sports.

With the creation of PFL Studios, the mixed martial arts promotion has done that once again to match with the fastest growing sport on earth.

PFL Studios, spearheaded by 16-time Emmy Award-winning producer George Greenberg, launched in 2020 to allow for the year-round development of original content that is produced 100% in-house from the PFL.

As a fully integrated media company, the PFL will spotlight its elite world-class athletes through four breakout series to premiere on ESPN including Fantastic Finishes, Inside the Season, A Champion’s Journey, and The Randy Couture Story.

PFL Studios provides live, linear and digital programming on ESPN in the United States and to 160 countries through international media partners around the world. Also, the promotion released the PFL OTT, an app that provides fans with 450 hours of classic fights, original content, and more.

Staying on top of the digital content world, PFL Studios will distribute across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and new partners Fubo Sports Network and WAVE.tv. That content includes Hit List, Inside the Knockout, Prep Point, Red King Rundown, Run it Back, Slick Submission, and MMA at Home powered by GEICO.

PFL is the only MMA promotion to present the sport through the regular season, playoff, and championships, crowning million-dollar winners in six weight classes at the epic PFL Championship Finals.

Fantastic Finishes - featuring fast-paced, highlight-driven finishes from the world-class athletes in PFL, this seven-episode series relives the best of the best from the six divisions. The finale spotlights the Top-40 finishes.

Inside the Season - a 10-part series bringing fans all of the ups and downs during an eight-month season for fighters working to secure a million-dollar win in the PFL Championship Finals. Fighter interviews, never-before-seen fight footage, locker room access, and commentary are featured.

A Champion’s Journey - relive how Kayla Harrison, Ray Cooper III, and the other elite fighters were able to survive winning their respective weight classes and capture the ultimate payday in MMA.

The Randy Couture Story - coming soon will be a multi-part series showcasing one of the all-time greats in the sport, former world champion Randy Couture. “The Natural” started out as a standout wrestler before transitioning into MMA and eventually becoming a Hollywood star.
