Philadelphia Eagles vs. Atlanta Falcons: Preview, Where to Watch Live Stream Online and More
The NFL’s only undefeated team looks to go another week without picking up their first loss.
The Atlanta Falcons visit the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8 of the 2012 NFL season. Both teams are coming off a bye.
Historically, Andy Reid’s teams have been virtually unbeatable, coming off bye weeks. Perhaps, that is why the Eagles are favored to win the contest. At 3-3, Philadelphia is a three-point favorite over 6-0 Atlanta.
It’ll be the Eagles first game this season without defensive coordinator Juan Castillo. Castillo was fired after the team’s overtime loss to the Lions two weeks ago.
Even though they made a change on the defensive side of the ball, offense has been Philadelphia’s biggest problem. Michael Vick has been unable to help put his team in the end zone. The Eagles have moved the ball, accruing 379 total yards per game. Still, they’re 30th in points per game.
Vick’s turnovers have plagued the Eagles. He’s lost three fumbles and thrown eight interceptions.
For the Falcons, Matt Ryan is making a case to be the MVP of the league. His 98.8 quarterback rating is fourth in the NFL. His top two weapons, Roddy White and Julio Jones, may be the best wide receiver tandem in the all of football.
FOX will broadcast the game at 1 p.m. ET. You can watch a live stream online, by purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket Max.
Prediction: The Falcons have been fortunate to remain undefeated. They squeaked by the Panthers and Raiders in their last two games, hitting last-second field goals. If Vick can protect the ball, the Eagles can hand Atlanta their first loss.
Predicted Score: Philadelphia 27, Atlanta 20
