Philadelphia Eagles vs. Cleveland Browns: Watch Live Stream Online, Preview, Prediction for the 2012 NFL Season Opener
The Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns square off Sunday afternoon in their 2012 NFL season opener.
The contest gets under way at 1 p.m. EDT at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The game will be broadcast on Fox. If you can't get to a TV, you can watch a live stream online by purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket Max.
The two teams just met two weeks earlier. The Eagles won 27-10 in their third exhibition game. They are 9-point favorites on the road, after going 4-0 in August.
The Browns are led by a few first-year players. They drafted Brandon Weeden with the 22nd overall pick. He'll start at quarterback for Cleveland in their first game, replacing Colt McCoy, who started 13 games for them in 2011.
Weeden will be handing the ball off to Trent Richardson. He was taken third overall, the first non-quarterback taken in April's draft. There were questions about whether or not the running back could go with a knee injury, but he looks to be good to play, after practicing on Friday.
Michael Vick should be ready to start against the Browns. The Eagles quarterback battled injuries all preseason, leaving each of the first two exhibition contests after getting hurt. He took just 12 snaps in the preseason.
Vick will have a number of offensive weapons at his disposal. LeSean McCoy looks to continue the success he achieved last year. He was one of the few Eagles who didn't have a disappointing season. He ran for 1,309 yards and scored 20 touchdowns.
DeMeco Ryans makes his Philadelphia debut. The linebacker came over from Houston in the offseason.
Prediction: The Eagles suffered a lot of injuries on their way to a disappointing 2011 campaign. They enter the season opener very healthy, and shouldn't have much trouble in this one. The Browns are very inexperienced at some key positions, and could be knocked out of this one early.
Predicted Score: Philadelphia 30, Cleveland 14
