Philadelphia -- At least one suspected gunman is in custody after the recent deadly mass shooting in Philadelphia, District Attorney Larry Krasner said Monday at a press conference.

Three people were killed and 11 were injured in the shooting late Saturday on South Street, a popular area in the city.

Suspected shooter Quran Garner, 18, was shot in the hand by a police officer during the incident. He has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement officers.

Krasner said arrest warrants were also issued Monday for two other suspected gunmen "in connection to what we anticipate are non-fatal shootings." Krasner said he expects at least two suspects to be arrested.

The incident began with a fist fight that turned into a deadly shooting. Police also said that one man who died was a part of the fight.

The three victims were Kristopher Minners, 22; Alexis Quinn, 27; and Gregory "Japan" Jackson, 24. Krasner said that Jackson was the instigator of the altercation.

Most of those injured were bystanders between the ages of 18 and 70.

Police said that two guns used in the shooting were a ghost gun and a loaded extended magazine. At least four weapons were used throughout the shooting, according to reports.

The shooting follows a string of mass shootings across the U.S. over the past several weeks.

There have been mass shootings in Wisconsin, Tennessee, Texas, New York, and Ohio. These incidents have increased calls for lawmakers to pass gun control and gun safety measures.
