Daniel Craig is all set to wear the iconic James Bond suit for the last time in the upcoming movie “No Time To Die” and fans have a lot of questions regarding the future of the franchise. They are continuously in search of answers on how the franchise will move forward after Craig's exit.

Interestingly, it appears that the makers have already made a plan on what to do with the franchise.

According to The Mirror, the management is already in talks with writer-turned-actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge to develop a James Bond spinoff series. A source close to the makers has told the publication that Waller-Bridge has been asked to write a story on Bond’s daughter Mathilde and how she trained to become a spy like her father.

The insider also revealed that the management is really happy and excited for the things to come and is all set to create a franchise around 007’s daughter.

Citing the source, the media outlet also suggested that the story will see Bond training her daughter to be an assassin.

“Bond bosses are very excited about 007 having a daughter and creating a new franchise around her. It is likely to feature Bond conflicted over having to train her up as an assassin combined with Waller-Bridge's trademark humor, shown in ‘Killing Eve,’” the source said.

Earlier this month, a report claimed that Craig’s character will become a father to a 5-year-old girl named Mathilde in the upcoming movie. The report also revealed that Dr. Madeleine Swann, played by actress Lea Seydoux, will be the mother of his child.

The report also claimed that apart from fatherhood, the film will explore many more layers of the character created by Ian Fleming.

“Yes, it is true. Bond is a dad. Daniel wanted to make this Bond film the most surprising and entertaining yet. Daniel is older and his Bond is maturing and looking at life through the prism of fatherhood. But there's a lot more to it than that,” a source told the publication.

The “Fleabag” actress has also worked on the screenplay of the 25th movie in the highly successful series.

The cast of “No Time To Die” also includes Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, David Dencik, Billy Magnussen and Dali Benssalah.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 20, 2020.
