Danish Queen Margarethe and H.R.H Prince Henrik of Denmark began their six-day tour of the United States on Monday by attending a reception in their honour at the Danish Ambassador’s residence.

On Tuesday, the couple visited the Smithsonian Institution Museum of American History in the morning and at the noon, the couple met up at the presidential yacht, USS Sequoia for luncheon held in their honor by Ditlev Engell, CEO of Vestas.

Later she arrived at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where she met the Royal Danish Ballet.

On Wednesday, Queen Margrethe II and H.R.H. Prince Henrik of Denmark will meet the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama for the mid-morning tea.
