Barack and Michelle Obama may soon be residing in Martha’s Vineyard as the couple is reportedly in escrow for a new estate on the island.

According to TMZ, the Obamas have made an offer for a $14,850,000 home that was previously owned by Wyc Grousbeck, the owner of the Boston Celtics. Both Barack and Michelle rented the house over the summer and fell in love with the property so much so that they put in an offer to own it, the news outlet said.

While the home is listed at $14.8 million, reportedly the Obamas paid under the asking price but the exact amount has not been disclosed.

The home includes seven bedrooms, a pool, outdoor fireplace, chef’s kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and two guest wings within 6,900 square feet and 29 beachfront acres, TMZ reported. The house is also decked out with a second-floor Jacuzzi, boathouse, and an ultra-private beachfront as well as amazing views but only has a two-car garage, the news outlet said.

Tom LeClair and Gerret Conover listed the home, which reportedly is in escrow, and not a done deal as there are contingencies on the purchase.
