Pink bread loaves to fight breast cancer
Starting today up to the Mother's Day celebration, 100 percent of all sales of Baker's Delight Murwillumbah will be given to the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).
Pink has been the color of the month making the store's decoration and their bread loaves in a delightful shade of pink.
The store has constantly raised the most funds for the annual Bakers Delight Pink Bun dough-raising campaign except for last year where they land to second place.
Last year we raised $3850 but came second to Southport. said Greg Madden, store franchisee.
Staffs from the store said that they are more than willing to support the worthy cause.
The aim is to raise $1 million and we help contribute a few thousand to it, one staff member said.
The aim of Baker's Delight Murwillumbah, together with 630 Bakers Delight stores nationally, which are part of the Queensland Bakers Delight network, is to generate funds up to $1 million to have a fight with those women who were afflicted with breast cancer.
