October is “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” and HTC has set the ball rolling by supporting the fight against breast cancer in the technology sphere. The Taiwanese tech giant has apparently unveiled a limited-edition Pink color version of the flagship HTC One M9, specific to the U.S. market.

The Pink HTC One M9 can now be purchased from the tech giant’s official Website for the U.S. customers. A total of two versions of the Pink model have been made available. While one of them comes with a regular Pink chassis, the other has a Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s light pink ribbon on the back of the device.

As far as the Pink HTC One M9 price is concerned, both the variants will reportedly cost $649 each. Also, it is worth noting that HTC offers free ground shipping service upon placing an order. These pink models can be purchased until Oct. 31 11:59 p.m. PDT. Potential buyers will also get $100 Google Play credit, in addition to a beautiful Pink Dot View Ice Case free of charge.

Readers should note that the Pink HTC One M9 models will reportedly work only under GSM carriers, GSM Arena reported.

The handset comes with a 5.0-inch display and 1080p resolution. Under the hood, a Snapdragon 810 chipset powers the device and it comes backed with a solid 3 GB of RAM. Plus, there is a good 32 GB of internal storage capacity, along with microSD card support for further expansion.

Other key One M9 features include a 20-megapixel rear-facing sensor, 4-megapixel secondary snapper and a non-removable 2,840 mAh battery. The icing on the cake, however, is the much-appreciated rapid charging capability with Quick Charge 2.0 technology on board.
