Pippa Middleton Gets Secretly Engaged To Boyfriend Nico Jackson Ahead Of Her 30th Birthday: Report

Kate Middleton’s sister, Philippa Charlotte Middleton, popularly known as Pippa, is all set to walk down the aisle with her stockbroker boyfriend, Nico Jackson, according to recent reports.

The socialite has been dating Jackson for about six months, and according to Sunday People, Middleton will officially announce her engagement during her 30^th birthday celebrations on Friday.

The publication, quoting friends of the couple as sources, reported that Middleton and Jackson got engaged shortly before the Wimbledon Championships in July, and the news was kept under wraps to avoid diverting media attention from the birth of the royal baby.

“They didn’t want an announcement before Pippa’s birthday because they didn’t want to take the shine off Kate and her baby,” a source told Sunday People, according to HollywoodLife.

“Pippa loved seeing Kate go down the aisle and now it is her turn for a fairytale wedding,” the source added. “She couldn’t be more sure that Nico is the right man for her. They are such a good fit for each other and their families get on really well. Everyone is so happy for Pippa.”

Middleton met Jackson, 35, at a London nightclub last year, and both the families are reportedly happy with the match. Jackson is said to be from a non-aristocratic middle-class family in Kent and his parents run a ski-and-sportswear shop.

“We are very pleased,” Ulrike, Jackson’s mother, earlier told Mirror about her son’s relationship with Middleton. "And yes, they seem very happy – so that is the perfect answer for them, isn’t it? We have met and she is absolutely charming. I really cannot say any more.”

Regarding the wedding, various media reports indicate that it is going to be a traditional wedding at a local church. However, it is not yet sure if the Duchess of Cambridge will be Middleton’s bridesmaid.

“It remains to be seen whether Kate will be bridesmaid,” the source told Sunday People. “Everyone knows how close the sisters are but at this stage the final arrangements are a long way off. Pippa’s wedding will be a huge occasion but if Kate is bridesmaid it will be even more high-profile.”
