Pippa Middleton Thought Gun Incident Was ‘A Very Funny Game’ [PHOTO]
Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton Saturday was photographed with a man aiming a pistol as they sat in front seat of an Audi Convertible in Paris.
The incident took place a day after Middleton attended an 18-century-themed fancy dress party to celebrate the 30th birthday of French fashion entrepreneur, Vicomte Arthur de Soultrait.
The incident happened the next day when an unidentified man at the wheel of a car besides Middleton waved a gun at the paparazzi in Paris. Pippa and her friends were driving to the Gare du Nord to catch a Eurostar to London.
However, Middleton and her male friend are not in any trouble as French police said that they couldn't launch an investigation based on photo proof alone.
But Middleton believes that the entire incident was just a joke, according to a friend.
According to Vicomte's brother Marcy de Soultrait, the gun in question was a kid's toy and Middleton believed that the matter was a very funny game.
Pippa is a very good friend of mine and this gun affair is very silly. It was a children's toy that the driver had in his car. Pippa thought it was funny. It is fine in France to do that and the police are not investigating, he told the Daily Mail.
In France there is no problem, just in England. You English think there is a problem, which is crazy.
I have spoken with Pippa, she thinks this is all a joke and a funny game. We were just having a laugh. We are funny people, it's what we do.
The paparazzo saw the toy and he knew it was a toy, he has said so. You English need to get over it. It was just a joke that has been blown out of all proportion, he added.
