Pippa Middleton Wedding: Prince George, Princess Charlotte Join Entourage; Meghan Markle Not Invited?

Pippa Middleton’s wedding entourage may include the adorable royal babies Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children will apparently be playing important roles during their aunt’s big day.

On Monday, April 10, Kensington Palace released a statement announcing that Prince George, 3, and Princess Charlotte, 1, will be a page boy and bridesmaid, respectively, at their aunt Pippa’s wedding. Kate and Prince William will also be present in the wedding, but is still unclear what the role of the Duchess of Cambridge will be, ABC News reported.

While Kate and Prince William’s entire family will be present at the wedding, Prince Harry might not be able to take his celebrity girlfriend, Meghan Markle, as his plus one for the occasion. Pippa reportedly imposed a “no ring, no bring” policy, which means that bachelor guests can’t take their girlfriends as their dates for the ceremony.

There are speculations that Pippa doesn’t want anyone to outshine her on her big day, and this is why she imposed the policy. And apparently, this is also the reason why her future brother-in-law, Spencer Matthews, and his girlfriend, Vogue Williams, will not be attending the wedding, The Sun reported.

“Pippa’s view is that Vogue’s relationship with Spencer is still very new. It wouldn’t be appropriate for her to be there after just a few months of dating,” an insider told the publication. “But some people in the circle are pretty shocked because this is her future brother-in-law who’s going to end up attending on his own. It’s certainly raised eyebrows.”

The “no ring, no bring” policy may exclude Markle, who has been dating Prince Harry for six months. However, a source revealed that Pippa might not invite the “Suits” star as well, fearing that the actress might outshine the bride.

“She saw how all eyes were on Meghan rather than Lara last week,” an insider told Daily Mail of Prince Harry and Markle attending his friend’s wedding in Jamaica. “The situation was also stressful for Harry. Pippa and her mother Carole wonder whether Meghan’s presence could cause a great deal of unnecessary chaos.”
