With two weeks left in the 2019 NFL season, four AFC teams have clinched playoff berths. That essentially leaves three teams fighting for the last two postseason spots.

The race is coming down to the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans and Pittsburgh Steelers. Either Houston or Tennessee will win the AFC South. The loser will compete with Pittsburgh for the No.6 seed.

The Indianapolis Colts technically haven’t been eliminated from contention ahead of their “Monday Night Football” matchup with the New Orleans Saints, but they are extreme long shots to sneak into the playoffs.

The Texans defeated the Titans in Tennessee Sunday to take a one-game lead in the division. The Steelers lost at home against the Buffalo Bills on “Sunday Night Football.” Pittsburgh and Tennessee share the same record, but the Steelers have the tiebreaker with one fewer loss to an AFC team.

Which two teams have the best chance of playing beyond Week 17? The betting odds suggest that both AFC South teams have an advantage over the Steelers.

FanDuel Sportsbook gives the Titans -132 odds to make the playoffs. The Steelers’ playoff odds are +114.

Houston is an overwhelming -650 betting favorite to win the AFC South.

Pittsburgh finishes the season with two road games, visiting the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens in the final two weeks. Before the Texans host the Titans in Week 17, they will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Saturday night. Tennessee hosts New Orleans in Week 16.

The Texans own the tiebreaker over the Titans because they are guaranteed to finish with a better division record. That means Houston would clinch the AFC South title with either a win in Tampa Bay or a Tennessee loss to New Orleans.

Pittsburgh and Tennessee are in a somewhat complicated tiebreaker scenario. If the two teams finish with the same record and the Titans beat the Texans, Tennessee gets the wild-card berth. If the Titans lose to the Texans and finish tied with the Steelers, Pittsburgh is the No.6 seed.

The Steelers will make the playoffs if the Titans don’t win another game. Houston owns the tiebreaker over Pittsburgh in the event that Tennessee wins the AFC South.

According to OddsShark, Houston is a two-point favorite in Tampa Bay. The Saints are favored by one point in Tennessee. Pittsburgh is a three-point favorite in New York.
