'Platinum End' Episode 13 Not Airing This Week; New Release Date, Spoilers

Hajime Sokotani has sacrificed his life for the sake of Mirai and Saki. The battle between Mirai and Metropoliman is expected to begin in "Platinum End" Episode 13.
The new episode, titled "World Peace," has been delayed and it will not release this week. "Platinum End" Episode 13 is now scheduled to air on Jan. 6.
Mirai, Saki and the others witnessed the tragic and horrifying death of Hajime. Metropoliman said Hajime died because he couldn't make the decision to take down Fuyuko.
Meanwhile, Mirai wondered if Hajime would have died had he killed Fuyuko. Metropoliman blamed Mirai and company for the death of Hajime.
Interestingly, despite knowing how evil Metropoliman was, Mirai decided not to kill him. Mirai added that he was doing this for his own happiness. It will be interesting to see how Mirai fights against Metropoliman in the forthcoming episodes.
"Fuyuko, one of Kanade's underlings, is a researcher who develops killer viruses. Fuyuko threatens Mirai and his companions by telling them that she'll conduct an indiscriminate terrorist act and spread her killer virus. She demands that they allow her to test her newest drug on them if they want to prevent the attack. Kanade names Mirai as the first guinea pig. Mukaido and Saki desperately try to stop him, but Mirai won't listen, as he doesn't want anyone to die, and instead he faces Fuyuko one on one. The needle approaches. What will be Mirai's fate...?" read the official synopsis of Episode 12, according to Crunchyroll.
The cast of "Platinum End" anime includes Miyu Irino as Mirai Kakehashi, Yui Ogura as Nasse, Yūsaku Yara as The "Aged God," Yū Sasahara as Akira Kakehashi, Toshiyuki Morikawa as Nanato Mukaidō, Tomoaki Maeno as Hajime Sokotani, Natsuki Hanae as Revel, Shōya Chiba as Mizukiyo Minamikawa, Kaori Maeda as Mimi Yamada, Kikuko Inoue as Meyza, M.A.O as Saki Hanakago, Ai Kayano as Baret, Hikaru Midorikawa as Balta and Kaito Ishikawa as Kanade Uryū.
Fans can watch "Platinum End" episodes online on Crunchyroll, Funimation and Hulu on Thursdays. The episodes will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles. The current season has 24 episodes.
