Sony has revealed September's lineup of free PlayStation Plus games, and it contains interesting titles from multiple genres.
It's been two months since the new PS Plus system was rolled out, and keep in mind that different games may require different subscription tiers with it.
Here are all the free games coming to the monthly PS Plus lineup and the Game Catalog for premium members.
"Need For Speed Heat" – PS4
Compete against the best drivers in Palm City in 2019's premier "Need For Speed" title. The game features varied landscapes like mountain roads, fields, city streets and more.
Pick from a selection of over 120 cards made by 33 different manufacturers like Mazda and Ferrari, which made a return to the series after being absent from the previous entry.
"Need For Speed Heat" features both single-player career and multiplayer versus modes.
"Granblue Versus Fantasy" – PS4
Enjoy a completely different take on fighting games with "Granblue Fantasy Versus" and its unique combat system that uses RPG-style special attacks and combo moves.
The game also features a story-driven RPG mode that takes players to the universe of "Granblue" and all its colorful characters.
"Toem" – PS5
"Toem" is an adventure game with a charming hand-drawn art style. With a camera in hand, explore a calm and relaxing landscape and interact with a cast of quirky characters.
Keep an eye out for the environment because there might be secrets hiding in plain sight that only a skilled photographer can find.
New Game Catalog Additions
PlayStation Plus Extra plan subscribers will get to download and play the following games that will be added to the catalog on Sept. 20:
- "Deathloop"
- "Dragonball Xenoverse 2"
- "Assassin's Creed Origins"
- "Watch Dogs 2"
- "Chicory"
- "Monster Energy Supercross"
"Deathloop's" arrival on the PS Plus Extra plan stirred the fanbase over the possibility of the game's potential release for Xbox and its Game Pass subscription service, according to Dexerto. It originally launched with a one-year exclusivity deal with PlayStation. But now that the deal's duration is almost over, fans are hoping for good news on Sept. 14, the day of "Deathloop's" first anniversary.
