This article contains spoilers for “Plunderer” episodes.

Jail is one of the main characters of the anime series, and “Plunderer” episode 20 is likely to revolve around him.

“I have finally learned the art of shooting lasers from my eyes! Behold, Iron Jail Beam! Not trying hard enough! Release, Jail Conviction Beam,” Licht says in the preview trailer for “Plunderer” episode 20.

In the previous episode, it focuses on past misunderstandings, and the heroes get a chance to relax.

The episode starts with a party, and the rules are simple - drink and eat as much and as long as one can.

Episode 9 also showcases Nana’s pre-recorded messages from 300 years ago.

In the video message, Nana can be seen announcing that the war is over, and she can be more than just a soldier. She reveals that she will become bro-bro’s wife. The present-day Nana is embarrassed to see the video with the gang.

Throughout the video, Nana documents how Licht’s behavior changed. She reveals that when Licht removes his mask, she will ask him to marry her. She says that she is an old maid but hopes that he wouldn’t mind. Nana has waited 200 years for Licht.

The present-day Nana tries to explain that she was just a kid back then. To her surprise, Licht feels bad for her. He tells her that it is not that he didn’t take off the mask because it reminded her of the war. He explains that he didn’t know what look he should have on his face. Moreover, he didn’t want her to worry about him.

He ends up telling her that he could survive 300 years because she was always by his side.

“Plunderer” episode 20 is scheduled to air Wednesday (May 27). Fans can watch the episode online via live streaming mode on Funimation. Currently, the episodes are available in Japanese with English subtitles.
