The hip-hop community is mourning the loss of one of their own. Rapper PnB Rock was killed on Monday afternoon during a shootout at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles restaurant in Los Angeles.

The "Selfish" rapper's tragic and untimely death has sent shockwaves in the hip-hop realm as tributes started pouring in for the fallen MC.

Drake shared an Instagram story remembering Rock. Offset asked his Twitter followers to pray for Rock's family. "Pray for pnb rock....the man got family and kids smh God be with the man," Offset tweeted.

Tiz Taylor of Internet Money remembered meeting with Rock a few weeks ago. He called him "one of the nicest and most genuine people to be around."

"Just was with bro a few weeks ago. We were in first class then linked up in the studio afterward and worked. Sh*t crazy Man U never know when somebody gonna go. PNB always one of the nicest and most genuine people to be around. RIP bro fr."

Motivational guru Gary Vaynerchuck, also known as Garyvee, chairman of VaynerMedia and VaynerX, shared his photos with the rapper.

"I miss u already @pnbrock 💔... I'll see u again," he captioned the Instagram post.

Rapper, singer, and songwriter Russ mourned the death of Rock. "Damn man. RIP PNB Rock. So sad," the rapper tweeted.

Chika remembered him for being gentle and kind to him when he was just a newcomer in the industry. "PnB Rock was one of the first people I met out here. I remember being tucked away at a shoot feeling out of place & he went to the director and told them to make sure to prioritize me the same way. he was gentle and kind to me, a newcomer and stranger. rest in peace, man," the "Can't Explain It" singer tweeted.

Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to warn fellow artists against disclosing their locations on social media. Minaj also recalled that it was a "pleasure" to work with Rock.

"After Pop Smoke, there's no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus. #SIP #PnbRock," the Super Freaky Girl rapper wrote.

Other celebs from the industry also paid tribute to Rock.

The rapper, known for his hit track "Selfish," was gunned down during a robbery incident when the rapper was dining at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles restaurant with his girlfriend on Monday afternoon, Los Angeles Times reported.

Before the deadly attack, Rock's girlfriend Steph Sibounheuang had shared a photo of their meal at the restaurant. The now-deleted Instagram post was location tagged.

Rock, whose real name is Rakim Allen, was 30 and has two daughters with Sibounheuang.
