Since “Pokémon Sword and Shield” and coming later this year, the Pokémon Company has decided to build up more hype be releasing a new trailer that reveals some of the upcoming games’ new features, characters and Pokémon that players can catch.

One of the things revealed is “Gigantamax,” a feature that transforms Pokémon into larger versions of themselves in battle. Only rare species of Pokémon will be able to Gigantamax. Pokémon that are able to Gigantamax also gain a special move called a “G-Max Move.”

Aside from “Gigantamax,” the trailer also revealed three new Pokémon along with a previously revealed Poké-pooch. These Pokémon -- Alcremie, Yamper, Rolycoly and Duraludon -- will surely bring fans some fun and enjoyment while playing the game. All of them are unique and have certain abilities that will have people laughing. Here’s a quick glance at these Pokémon:

Alcremie

Alcremie is a fairy-type Pokémon that looks like ice cream sans the cone. It is said to have the ability to “produce whipped cream” that becomes “richer the happier” the Pokémon feels. It also throws sweet cream at enemies, soothing them and making them “lose the will” to fight.

Yamper

Yamper is an electric-type puppy Pokémon that resembles a corgi. This energetic Pokémon produces electricity when it runs, and will be seen with sparks around it when it chases something it gets attracted to. It has the ability to fetch Poké Balls trainers throw at Pokémon they fail to catch. Good boy!

Rolycoly

Rolycoly is a rock-type coal Pokémon that once used to provide homes in the Galar region with coals for cooking and heating. It has a red eye that allows it to move in dark areas, and it is able to move quickly in coal minesand caves using the coal attached to its body. Its Steam Engine ability gives it a speed boost when it gets hit with fire- or water-type attacks in battle.

Duraludon

Duraludon is a steel/dragon-type alloy Pokémon. Its metal body is light, allowing it to move quickly. It lives in the Galar region’s caves and mountainous areas, feeding on rocks that it grinds using its two differently shaped arms.
