Porn mogul James Jim Lloyd Mitchell's son James Raphael Mitchell has been convicted of first degree murder of his ex-girlfriend in California. A Marin County Superior Court jury delivered a guilty verdict Tuesday after deliberating for less than two days, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. The jury also convicted Mitchell of kidnapping, child endangerment, child abduction, domestic violence and stalking, but acquitted him of murder during kidnapping, a circumstance that would have made him unable to seek parole.

Mitchell was accused of beating and killing his ex-girlfriend Danielle Keller, 29, with a bat and kidnapping their one-year-old daughter on her birthday. Keller was beaten with a softball bat that police found close to her body. She died at the scene.

Mitchell's father is the infamous James Jim Lloyd Mitchell, who along with his brother Artie Jay Mitchell pioneered the pornography and striptease club business in San Francisco and other parts of California. Jim was accused of killing Artie in 1991 and served five years in prison before he died in 2007.
