Lana Rhoades has revealed that unlike some of her fellow porn stars, she didn’t have a hard time finding a boyfriend despite her adult film career.
During an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, she admitted that her dating experience may be different from that of other adult stars. Rhoades said she knows other adult performers who have had difficulty finding love but added that “everyone’s different.”
“I’ve had boyfriends while I was shooting porn, after porn. Now, guys are willing and ready to wife me up,” Rhoades shared.
“It’s just not true that no one wants to date you because you have done that,” she added.
However, Rhoades admitted that her career did have an effect on her relationship with her ex-husband, whom she said became “insecure” due to her porn stint. She said her ex would watch her scenes and get upset despite it being just for show.
This doesn't seem to be the case for Rhoades's current boyfriend, YouTuber Mike Majlak, whom she said “doesn’t care” about her profession.
But Rhoades admitted that her boyfriend, just like her previous ones, does bring up her porn career when they are on the verge of breaking up.
“No one else is going to love you like I do because of your past,” Rhoades quoted Majlak and her exes.
However, she said she doesn’t let the harsh words affect her.
Rhoades also spoke about her OnlyFans account during the interview. She admitted that unlike other porn stars, she doesn’t “invest as much effort” into her account on the subscription platform. She also pointed out that she doesn’t offer the same content as other adult stars.
“I’m only posting nudes. They are doing everything on their OnlyFans,” Rhoades said.
She explained that she also makes money from many other sources, so only a percentage of her supporters are going to sign up for her content.
“I’ve gotten to the point in my life where I don’t want to do anything that doesn’t bring happiness and joy to me. If it’s going to make me less happy, I’m not going to do it,” Rhoades said.
