Porn Star Opens Up On Her Life Inside Mormon Church: 'I was very sexually repressed'

Adult film star Addie Andrews sat down recently and discussed her rise to fame. At first look, it may seem pretty simple. It isn’t. She had some interesting things to say. Not many people leave the Mormon Church for a career in porn. That seems rather backward. In her case, it was a natural progression.

Andrews grew up in the Pacific Northwest and she told Her parents were rather strict and required that she have a religion, the New York Post quoted her as saying in a statement.

Andrews joined the Church of Latter-Day Saints at a young age where she says she thrived on the original welcoming feeling and inclusiveness. Public service and helping people were things that she enjoyed. But she did not enjoy the minimalist views of the church. Acceptable clothing options were limited, and were modest at best. Despite the harsh requirements, the star, who was recently named the Penthouse 'Pet of the Month' was determined to remain faithful.

In the statement she detailed her experiences with the strict code of the church. There was an 18-month period where she could hardly associate with her family. Watching movies on the weekend, going out, and living a healthy life was off-limits.

Andrews, who is now a a beautiful 5 foot 8-inch woman, said that before joining the church, she had only had one sexual encounter. The LDS Church highly frowns upon premarital sex, and even on sex in general. Andrews held on, despite the harsh conditions. And for the period she was with the church, she did not have sex. “I was very sexually repressed!” she said it the report. “You’re essentially a nun, devoted to your religion for that period of time.”

But things changed when she was not able to attend her sister's wedding as a bridesmaid, she told the publication. The dress chosen for the ceremony defied the conventions of the church. She had enough and walked off from the church. She headed to California to be an actress. She had dreams of dancing, singing, and partying. Living a little bit of life in excess. Seems fair after being so repressed.

When the acting didn't working out as planned, Andrews turned to exotic dancing, and then to adult films. She has risen to the top of her game and is also an Instagram star with more than 70,000 followers.

She was recently asked what her family thought. Andrews replied, “They have really accepted my choices and just want me to be happy.” Even her brother is happy for her, though he was swift to state that he will never watch her porn. She may have lost her faith, but she gained a lot more.
