Porn Star Riley Reid Dishes On Relationship Status, Dating Life As An Adult Film Actress

Porn star Riley Reid recently answered some of her fans’ questions about her life via social media and touched on an array of subjects, including her love life and her adult film career.

On Monday, the porn star posted a selfie on her Instagram account, along with a message for her 3 million followers, “Ask a Question! Go!” Reid received thousands of questions from her fans in the comments section of the post, which, as of writing, has garnered more than 380,000 likes.

Reid was asked multiple times if she has a boyfriend, and the porn star, replying to @alexcalizaya24, said, “I do not. Single as a Pringle.” Others, meanwhile, took the time to ask the actress out, which she politely declined.

During the Q&A, Reid, whose real name is Ashley Matthews, was also asked about her insecurities, to which the adult film actress replied that she doesn’t like her face.

“I’m sure you do – but do you constantly get annoyed at being looked at just for sex when you go on a date? Instead of just a person or a friend to hang with..?” one Instagram user asked.

“Of course. I wanna be a whole person not just a porn star,” Reid answered.

Another user asked Reid about how having a career in porn has affected her relationships with other people and if she had to cut people away from her life when she was just starting out in the industry.

“[I]t’s made them all worse,” the adult film star replied.

Reid previously shed light on her profession in a YouTube video titled, “I HAD AN ABORTION,” where she also answered personal fan questions. One supporter asked why the porn star wouldn’t focus on other things aside from making erotic videos and assumed that the 29-year-old doesn’t really like what she is doing.

“I love my job. Even through the negatives and the struggles that porn has brought to me, I still am so grateful for the job that I have. I would not become the woman I am today without being the porn star that I am,” Reid said.

In another YouTube video posted earlier this year, the porn star also opened up about how the adult film industry has adversely affected her love life, Meaww reported.

“I've had some trouble dating guys because I'm financially successful. People would want to date me because I'm a famous porn star,” Reid, one of the most searched adult film actresses, said.

Reid previously worked as a stripper before joining the adult film industry in 2010 at 19 years of age. She has won numerous awards in her decade-long stint in porn, including the 2016 AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year.
