Porn Star Riley Reid Wants To Start Support Group For Struggling 'Single Women Sex Workers'

Riley Reid wants to connect with other single women in the sex industry.

In a recent post on her Instagram Story, the porn star said that she intends to start a group where female sex workers who feel they don't have anyone to talk to can open up and bond with each other.

"This post is for the women in the sex work industry who need someone to talk to or relate to," Reid wrote. "I want to start a group where single women sex workers have a place to talk and be heard."

In the post, Reid revealed the reason why she decided to form the group, citing messages she received from other sex workers as her motivation. The 29-year-old adult film actress, whose real name is Ashley Mathews, encouraged those who fit the bill to reach out to her via direct message if they are interested in joining such a group.

"I think it's really important to support one another & the amount of women who reach out to me BC of my vulnerable posts about dating as a sex worker has just opened my eyes to how many other women feel the same," she wrote. "I’ve struggled with family, dating & identity issues being a sex worker and if you struggle and want people to hear you and help you DM me. Let's make this real.”

This isn’t the first time Reid has expressed interest in helping her peers in the sex industry.

In an earlier Instagram post, she revealed that she went through a lot of changes in her life that "opened [her] eyes" to the person she wants to be. Reid also shared her desire to use her platform to bring positive change to her fellow sex workers.

"I want to use my voice for positive change in sex work for both women and men. I am sad it took me this long to realize the person I want to become but I’m here working on being a better version of myself now & you can too,” Reid posted last week.

Reid has no problem showing her vulnerable side on social media. The adult star recently admitted that she continues to struggle in finding love and that she sometimes worries about her decision to choose her career over past relationships.

Earlier this month, Reid also encouraged her Instagram followers to recommend men she could consider going on on a date with, revealing that dating sites have been deleting her profile.
