Porsha Stewart Faking Divorce? Claims Emerge That Divorce From Kordell Is A Ploy For Reality Show

Porsha Stewart of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta” may be taking drama to another level after reports emerged that her divorce is a ploy.

“Porsha found out that she was not going to come back on the show -- and both she and her husband [Kordell] desperately wanted to stay on the 'Housewives.' So they figured if they created a fake divorce, like NeNe [Leakes] did, it would be enough drama for them to be asked back [sic],” a source said, according to Perez Hilton.

She joined the hit Bravo show this season and has been married to the former NFL quarterback for two years.

It seems unlikely that anyone would fake a divorce for attention, especially since throughout the season Porsha constantly had to defend her husband, who the cast mates felt was too controlling and demanding.

Kordell filed a petition for divorce last month in Atlanta's Fulton County, Access Atlanta reports. The court document said the marriage was "irretrievably broken."

Porsha later said she was blindsided by the news and found out via Twitter while he was in the next room in the mansion they share.

But earlier this week, Kordell hinted at wanting to work on the marriage and posted a picture of the couple in happier times.

Neither Kordell nor Porsha have commented on the allegations that the divorce is fake.
