‘Power Book IV: Force’ Spoilers: Episode 9 Synopsis Released; Watch ‘Trust’ Promo

Tommy has been successfully pushing out Dahlia, but on “Power Book IV: Force” episode 9, his growing empire and connections will put a target on his back.

“Vic (Shane Harper) faces a devastating loss,” the “Trust” synopsis tease. In the promo video for the Starz series, Walter (Tommy Flanagan) tells Claudia (Lili Simmons) that the attack on Vic and Gloria (Gabrielle Ryan) has sparked a war.

In the previous episode, Vic and Gloria were in the process of running away together when their car was ambushed. Although Vic was able to fire some shots back, Gloria was fatally struck.

Walter previously killed three of the Serbs after learning they attempted to shoot Vic. However, it appears their latest retaliation will cause an all out war for Chicago’s criminal underworld.

While Vic is expected to struggle as he deals with Gloria’s death, will he have enough time to grieve before the war begins?

“Walter is ready to go to war and sends for heavy hitters,” the “Power Book IV: Force” Season 1, episode 9 synopsis says.

In the Starz promo video, Walter reveals he will be putting together a war room, but Paulie (Guy Van Swearingen) warns him that they don’t have the manpower for what’s coming.

Walter appears determined to take out the Serbs after they tried to kill his heir, but he will need more men if he is going to successfully eliminate his competition. Who will Walter call to help keep the Flynn family on top?

“Tommy soon realizes he needs more power but is turned down by one of his closest allies and is forced to turn to an unlikely resource,” the “Trust” synopsis reveals.

In the promo video, Tommy meets with the Serbs and tells them he needs an army, but he is told it will cost him.

Tommy will find himself at the center of the upcoming war but won’t have a team to help him defend his empire. Although he will most likely reach out to Diamond (Isaac Keys) for backup, he won’t get the help that he desires.

It appears he will turn to the Serbs for help, but will his decision cause further tension with the Flynn family?

“Power Book IV: Force” Season 1, episode 9 airs on Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT on Starz.
