Is ‘Power’ On Tonight? Super Bowl Delays Season 6, Episode 15 Series Finale
With only one episode left, Starz viewers will have to wait an additional week before they can watch the “Power” Season 6 finale. Fans are aware that after seasons of murders and betrayal, Ghost (Omari Hardwick) has been killed.
However, the identity of the assassin has yet to be revealed. The three possible suspects left are Tasha (Naturi Naughton), Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) and Saxe (Shane Johnson). Unfortunately, viewers will have to wait until next week to get the answer.
Like most networks, Starz has decided not to share a new episode of “Power” on Feb. 2, because it coincides with Super Bowl Sunday. Many viewers will probably choose to watch the sports event featuring the San Francisco 49ers vs Kansas City Chiefs over any primetime series.
The broadcast of the Super Bowl draws in millions of viewers each year, which means low ratings for other networks. During this time of the year, stations typically delay new content so they don’t have to compete with the sporting event.
Fans who aren’t interested in watching the Super Bowl can tune into Starz starting at 7 p.m. EST to watch a “Power” Season 6 mini-marathon. The network is scheduled to air episodes 10 through 14 Sunday evening.
Next week, the series will return with the “Power” Season 6 series finale. In episode 15, “Exactly How We Planned It,” viewers will learn the identity of Ghost’s killer.
“Power” Season 6 finale will air Sunday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m. EST on Starz.
